I took three months for Heart Internet to cancel my account and now a year later, they are chasing me for payments that I don't owe. It is impossible to speak to anyone and they continue to send threatening emails for accounts that i cannot access because my account has been cancelled. They are a despicable company.

I've been using heart internet for about a year now and have never had any problems with their service, my only issue is the step up in cost from one web site to adding a second isn't great.

That was a mistake as Heart Internet have now been bought by 123-reg!!!!!! Webfusion own 123-reg. My host XCALIBRE the best hosting company ever, was bought by Webfusion. The downtime on some of my sites varies between 10 mins and 3 hours on at least 3 times a week during office hours. This never happened with xcalibre. If I were you stay clear of these companies!!!!

Steve, you can check the web hosting status page whenever you like to see the planned maintenance. I don't get how that's a problem, to me it's much less annoying than having to delete emails because there's some maintenance at 2am that I didn't even know about.

Jonathan Brealey & Tim Beresford's Heart Internet is a very good hosting company, however I continue to keep my domains at 123-reg. I do host many websites with them.

Heart Internet gives many features that help resellers, but be warned that their method of keeping their customers up to date with any problems on their servers are very limited. There is no way to be told of upcoming maintenance or when servers are due to be restarted, the first you know is when you see your website is down and then you have to check out their Web Hosting System status page....a bit too late. They should treat their customers with a bit more respect by pro actively keeping them up to date with any problems via an email update system, instead of trying to hide issues.

I think they could be a lot better on how they deal with customers, even though the staff who man their support desk are pretty good.

A word to those thinking of joining Heart Internet - DON'T.

They are no better, if not worse, than the company they first set up 123-reg.

Hi.

We have used heart for several months.
We are also an ISP in our own right, with our own servers, infrastructure etc, so we are quite "experienced!
However - i have had several issues with them, mail servers not working, domains not being "added" (by domain association) properly so you can't edit DNS, etc.

My simple complaint is you CANT TALK to anyone.
Ticket support os OK until it goes really pearshaped, and then you NEED TO TALK.

I don;t think we will stay with them.

For the record, I MADE SURE that all domains were bought elsewhere, and not through heart. This gives you CONTROL !!
