Hi Lesley,

Yes, I took a conscious decision to make it readable and not too lengthy. I have a much denser 150,000-word version that I am sure will never see the light of day. Although I think I may have overdone the short-chapter thing in a few places. I think one chapter is only one-and-a-half pages. Ah well.

As for pictures - yes, well that was my publisher's call. I have a range of great photos. In fact, I will stick up the photos I wanted in the book at my website for the book at sexdotcom.info. Give me a few days. Actually I'll do it over the weekend.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. In all seriousness, once you've spent so long on something, it become impossible to judge whether it's any good or if you got a bit lost on the way.

I'm reading that book too. It only came yesterday and I'm already up to chapter 38. A really good read. I would have liked it to include some photos though (of the people named - not the web site content!). The author's name seems vaguely familiar, perhaps I've seen him around Oxford somewhere.

I'm reading a book about the fight over the Sex.com domain name. It was written by a talented young journalist who has vanished from the press circuit. Don't know what became of him, probably some PR suit in some international monolith somewhere (sigh).
